This is the true story of the original Paramount+ reboot of The Real World. After weeks of hype, ViacomCBS’ Paramount+ has released the first teaser for The Real World Homecoming: New York, a new series that reunites the cast of The Real World Season 1 nearly 30 years after they first graced our screens. That’s right: this is one Real World reunion fans won’t want to miss!

WHAT IS THE REAL WORLD HOMECOMING: NEW YORK?

Paramount+ series The Real World Homecoming: New York will see seven of the show’s original cast members reunite in their iconic NYC loft nearly 30 years after the reality show first aired. According to ViacomCBS, the new series will follow the former strangers as they “revisit the shocking moments and explosive issues that transpired during the historic season and discuss how they parallel in today’s social climate.”

The Real World Homecoming: New York will reunite fans with seven of the MTV show’s original roommates: Becky Blasband, Andre Comeau, Heather B. Gardner, Julie Gentry, Norman Korpi, Eric Nies, and Kevin Powell. It’s time to start getting real again!

WHERE TO WATCH THE REAL WORLD REUNION

The new Real World: New York reunion season will debut March 4 on Paramount+.

On that date, ViacomCBS streaming service CBS All Access will officially be rebranded as Paramount+, so customers looking to get in on the action early should be sure to sign up. The company is offering a 50% off deal for new customers who purchase an annual plan, which is currently priced at $59.99/year for ad-supported streaming or $99.99/year for commercial-free streaming.

ViacomCBS has not yet announced if pricing will remain the same when CBS All Access transitions to Paramount+, but if it does, customers will be charged $5.99/month for the limited commercials plan or $9.99/month for the ad-free plan.

IS PARAMOUNT NETWORK THE SAME AS PARAMOUNT PLUS?

Despite the similar names, Paramount Network is not the same as Paramount+. However, Paramount+ will house Paramount Network shows and movies, as well as thousands of hours of content from other ViacomCBS properties, including CBS, Nickelodeon, MTV, and VH1.
