Dr. Oz sued by his sister for allegedly withholding income from UES apartments

Dr. Oz has been stiffing his sister on cash coming in from a pair of pricy Upper East Side apartments owned by their late father, a new lawsuit alleges.

Nazlim Oz, who is the “Dr. Oz Show” host’s younger sister, filed a complaint Monday in Manhattan court claiming her 60-year-old brother Mehmet has been holding out on the $15,000 per month that she usually receives from renting out the properties.

She claimed payments disappeared after the February 2019 death of their father, Mustafa Oz, who snatched up the condos in 1983.

The apartments are under a limited liability company, which is controlled by the TV medical expert, the suit says.

Nazlim alleges that her brother gave her “no legal reason” for withholding the payments, though she noted that her father’s estate is tied up in probate court in his native Turkey.

“Nazim can draw no conclusion other than Mehmet is withholding her in order to [sic] some type of leverage over her in Turkish probate proceedings,” the suit says.

But the TV star said that he had to stop payments and put the money in escrow since their mother and other relatives are suing her over the estate, the Real Deal reported.

“My father legally placed me as manager of this entity, so although I do not own or desire these properties, I am obliged to hold all the income safely in escrow until the courts here and in Turkey have decided the merits of the ongoing litigations,” he told the outlet.

His sister’s attorney didn’t respond to request for comment, the outlet reported.
