Customer slashes worker, threatens to shoot-up NYC IHOP over mask rules

A hangry hell-raiser slashed a woman and threatened to shoot up an IHOP when restaurant workers tried to kick him out of the restaurant for refusing to wear a mask on Tuesday, police and reports say.

The incident unfolded just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday when a maskless man walked into the pancake house at 170-19 Hillside Ave. in Jamaica Hills, police said.

Staff members told the man to leave when he refused to put on a mask, according to cops.

The man then left briefly but he returned with two of his friends — one of whom handed him a knife, video released by the cops shows

He first tried to stab one of the male staffers before swinging the knife and slashing a 40-year-old female worker, cops said.

The woman needed seven stitches, cops said.

The manager told Queens Eagle that the maskless man kept repeating that he’d “shoot up the store.”
